My name is Nadia and I’m an Organizational Psychologist working in the field of Hospitality and Tourism in Madeira island.

Althought my field of work contributes a great deal to the island’s economy, I’ve been struggling to find a sense of accomplishment in my daily job. This is where “Static Stories” comes in. It allows me to be passionate about something.

I’m no photographer, but I do love photography. So in the beggining of 2013, motivated by my mastermind group,  I bought my first DSLR, a Nikon D3100. It came with the usual kit lens 18-55mm and a 55-200mm lens. Somehow, the lens I love is the 35mm 1.8G lens that I purchased a few months later.

My photos aren’t the sharpest or the best technically speaking. This is why I ask you to look at the this blog as a learning journal.

I encourage you to share your photos, your story or stories with me or provide some tips on how to improve at photography. Sharing and feeling part of a community is what makes life worthwhile.

Have a great day!
